- Arbitrage
- Betting on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to each team, often in increments like -1, +0.5, to eliminate the draw and balance the odds.
- ATS
- Short for "Against The Spread," this measures a team's performance relative to the point spread.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine multiple markets from the same match into one customized bet.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a bet you intend to place.
- BTTS
- Short for "Both Teams To Score," this bet wins if each team scores at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet before the event ends, either locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match, such as 2‑1 or 3‑0.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (win, draw, or loss) in a single wager.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing or adjusting bets after the match has started, with odds that update in real time.
- Juice
- The commission or fee charged by the bookmaker on a bet, often built into the odds.
- KYC
- "Know Your Customer," the process of verifying a bettor's identity to comply with legal and security regulations.
- Line Movement
- Changes in the odds or point spread as more bets are placed or new information becomes available.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The numerical representation of how likely an outcome is, showing how much you can win if your bet is correct.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the parlay to pay out, increasing potential profit.
- Spread
- A point handicap set by the bookmaker to level the playing field between two unevenly matched teams.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Unit
- A standard measurement of bet size, often used to manage risk across multiple wagers.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting potential profit.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and the stake is returned, usually because the event did not occur as scheduled.
